I experienced my first stage performance at the age of 16 in Benin, as a performer in Eve Ensler's play The Vagina Monologues, a worldwide success. Without having previously taken any acting classes, I performed with renowned actors. I learned a lot. Then I was offered small roles in local and sub-regional audiovisual productions.

Once in France years later, I was able to rediscover the role of actor (which I had abandoned for my studies), in a more academic way, in contact with Myrtille Buttner at the Cabriès Theatre School. This director and teacher introduced students who have now become well-known actors in French cinema. Even though once again I was unable to fulfill my hopes for the big screen, due to the vicissitudes of life, I have always loved the feeling of discovering a work and its interpretation.

Throughout these years, writing remained a natural impulse that I did not neglect. I thus oriented my studies towards journalism and the audiovisual world, where I worked for some time.

With the film Returnee, I am signing my first short film: a work that combines my love for cinema, writing and my life experience between Benin, my country of origin and France, my adopted country.
